Before you start, it's important to know the types of files you can send through Slack. The supported file types include JPG, JPEG, PNG, PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPTX, PPTM, and PPT. Additionally, you can attach up to three files per message, and each file must be no larger than 8MB.
To begin, open the Introist platform and navigate to the workflow where you want to add an attachment. Inside the workflow, locate the specific step where you need to send a Slack direct message
Within this task, scroll down to the "Attachment" section. Here, you can either drag and drop the files from your computer into the designated attachment area or click on the attachment area to open a file selector dialog. Select the files you wish to attach from your computer, ensuring each file is within the 8MB size limit and that you are attaching no more than three files per message.
