# Meetings

In Introist, a single calendar event is called a Meeting. Setting up a meeting means that Introist creates a new calendar event to your chosen calendar for the time you've chosen. Optionally, Introist might even look for the availability of the guests to figure out just the right time for the meeting.

This sections explains in detail how to build and operate automated Meetings with Introist.
