# Set up selecting meeting room

{% hint style="info" %}
Before you can use Introist to select meeting rooms, make sure to connect a meeting room provider as instructed in [Meeting room settings](/knowledge-base/build/settings/meeting-rooms.md).
{% endhint %}

You can instruct Introist to automatically book a meeting room for your meeting step. There are two options you can choose:

**Book meeting room(s)**

If you want Introist to always book a selected meeting room or rooms for all the instances of your meeting step, select "Book meeting rooms" in the "Location" section of the step editor.

Then, select the room or rooms you would like Introist to automatically add to every calendar event created by the step.

{% hint style="info" %}
Notice that this does not check the availability of the selected rooms.
{% endhint %}

**Pick available room**

If you want Introist to automatically find a room that is available at the time of the meeting, select "Pick available room".

Then, select all the rooms that Introist can use as a room for this particular step.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.introist.com/knowledge-base/build/workflow-steps/meetings/set-up-selecting-meeting-room.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
