# Step cut-off time Every step has a cut-off time which is calculated as days from the steps intended execution date (scheduled date). If the step is not completed by the time the cut-off time is reached, the step will be automatically cancelled. You can control when the cut-off happens as instructed below. #### Setting step cut-off period To change steps cut-off, open the step you want to edit. Click the cut-off value in the bottom right of the steps "Schedule" block.\ Input the desired cut-off time in days.
